Cristiano has showed off a stunning diamond-encrusted watch on his return to Old Trafford to face United. The Juventus superstar faced the media sporting the watch modelled on the Jacob&Co Caviar Tourbillon range. An emerald version of the watch is worth €2m, but Ronaldo’s version could be even more.
That’s because the design appears to have had 424 glistening diamonds added to it. A brand ambassador since 2013, Ronaldo has regularly displayed luxury items from the company.
Ronaldo is back in Manchester to take on his former club in an eagerly anticipated Group H showdown. Ronaldo’s statement piece caught the eye of the media. He spoke alongside boss Allegri on Monday having arrived at Manchester earlier in the day.
This month, Ronaldo became the first player to score 400 career goals in Europe’s top five leagues. The striker reached the feat after scoring against Genoa. He has played 497 matches and has scored 311 times for Madrid, 84 for United and five for Juventus. Hot on Ronaldo’s heels is Messi, who has played 426 matches and scored 389 times.
“I know I am an example, 100 per cent, in the pitch and outside the pitch. I always smile. I’m blessed. I play at a fantastic club, I have a fantastic family, I’m healthy. I have everything. The rest does not affect on me”, Cristiano told the press in his Manchester visit.
